Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I posted last! I’m safely back from Japan now.
I wish I could have written while I was in Japan, but as you can guess, things were hectic. I’m looking forward to the next week or so, because while I’m waiting for my visa to go through, I plan on writing all about Japan. I want to share my photos and the things we did, the people we saw, and the country that I love so much.
“Visa?” you may ask? I’ve kept a little quiet about it, but I’ve accepted a job in Korea! Those who read my article in the Observer may recall that I said I would avoid “hagwon”s like the plague, but I found a really nice one, recommended by a friend, that has me located in Anyang. From what I’ve heard, I’ve landed a really good city, and to me, that’s just as important, if not more important, than a good work place. Things were really stressful, because they wanted me to leave this Saturday. But the Korean Embassy won’t have my visa ready until the 30th, so I’ve had to reschedule everything so I can arrive on the 1st instead. I’m really excited to start this new job, and am looking forward to a year in Korea!
