Hello everyone! I’m so excited, we his 400 likes on Facebook! That’s REALLY awesome. So, because I’m really grateful and thankful to have all you wonderful people following the site, I want to do a summer giveaway, to help fight this heat. While we might be in the middle of rainy season in South Korea (It was a cool 20 degrees with rain today in Bucheon) I have heard horror stories of the heat wave back in North America, and I’m sure other places are getting it bad as well. So I thought we’d give away something to help you cool down!
We’re going to call this the Biggest Fan contest! Because I’m giving away k-pop fans. Here’s what you have to do:
- Like “A Blog Abroad” on Facebook (this should already be done though, right?)
- Find the photo album titled “Biggest Fan Giveaway”
- On the photo of the fan you’d like to win, post a tweet-length comment about why you need that group’s fan, or why you’re their biggest fan.
- Profit.
It’s easy, right? Of course it is. I’ll be picking one comment for each fan. Chances are, I’ll pick one at random. However, if someone’s comment is so funny and awesome, I will pick them. So you all should give it a good shot. I like funny things, and scary fans scare me. So you probably don’t want to say things like “Because I’m their biggest fan and have their fanclub name tattooed over my heart!” because that will frighten me more than anything else.
So, here are the prizes (there are a lot!)
Official U-Kiss Fan
So here we have the OFFICIAL U-Kiss fan that was given out during Dora Dora and Believe promotions. I was able to get a few extras from the staff for you guys, so they are very much official goods. I have TWO of these to give away.
Official Cross Gene Fan
These are the OFFICIAL Cross Gene fans that are being given out at fan sign events. I picked up a couple from the staff at the first event I went to, and so can also say these are definitely official. I have TWO of these to give away.
Unofficial F.T. Island Fan
This is an UNOFFICIAL FT Island fan. It was picked up at an idol goods shop in Myeongdong (the best place to pick up idol goods in Seoul!) and is very cute and heart shaped. It looks signed, but it’s printed on. I have ONE of these to give away.
Unofficial Exo Fan
This is an UNOFFICIAL Exo fan. This was also picked up at an idol shop in Myeongdong. Cute. Heart shaped. Fun. I have ONE of these to give away.
Unofficial Big Bang fan
This is an UNOFFICIAL Big Bang fan. It was picked up at Myeongdong, and is probably my favourite of the fans that I picked up at the shop I was at. The photos used are recent, and the signatures on it are printed on. I have ONE of these to give away.
Unofficial SHINee Fan
This is an UNOFFICIAL SHINee fan. Yet another one picked up from Myeongdong. Heart shaped, cute. I have ONE of these to give away.
Unofficial 2AM fan
This is an UNOFFICIAL 2AM fan. I found this one in the bottom of a box in Myeongdong, which was a lucky find indeed. I have ONE of these to give away.
So please remember, all comments for the photos need to be on the FACEBOOK page. They will be in their own album. If you want a U-Kiss fan, you comment on the U-Kiss photo. If you want the Big Bang fan, you comment on the Big Bang photo. You get the idea.
The deadline will be Friday, July 20th! I will be messaging people over the weekend, and people will have until Monday, July 23rd to get back to me so I can attempt to mail these off ASAP!
