Professional Writing Background

K-Soul is an English language Hallyu Wave magazine, focused on helping English speaking fans of Korean culture get the most out of their time in South Korea. Be it help people know how to favourite stars, or highlighting some of the more quirky parts of Korean history, K-Soul magazine wants to try help Hallyu fans around the world. K-Soul Magazine started in June 2012.

I was a regularly contributing writer with the Brockville Observer, a news paper based out of Brockville, Ontario, Canada. I wrote an article about life as an English teacher overseas titled “Seoul Searching.” The newspaper closed in October 2011.

I have also been published in various magazines over the past year, including Groove Magazine in the May 2011 edition. I am looking to expand into other publications in the coming months.

Internet: I am also the writer behind A Blog Abroad, a growing website that focuses on life and pop culture in South Korea. Readership has been steadily growing since its release in 2010.

Other Skills: I enjoy photography, and have had some of my previous photography published in Schmap’s Canada Travel Guide. I have also printed and sold landscape photography from Japan.
